What is Air Permeability?
Air Permeability is a resistance of fabrics (woven, knitted and non woven textile materials) to the passage of air under constant pre-set air pressure. Air permeability is an important property of some textile materials. The air permeability is mainly dependent upon fabric's weight and construction (thickness and porosity).Labthink TQD-G1 Air Permeability Tester is professionally applicable to the determination of air permeability of decorating materials used in cars, e.g. polyurethane, expanded plastics, PVC, leather, textiles, non-woven and other materials.
TQD-G1 Air Permeability Tester conforms to the multiple international standards:

Air Permeability Tester Priciple:
- Method A
Providing a constant air flux going through the specimen vertically, the air permeability could be obtained by measuring the pressure difference. - Method B
Providing the constant pressure difference between two sides of the specimen, the air permeability could be obtained by measuring the air flux through specific area in the certain time.
